This Study Session is now available as an on-demand video recording. You will receive the link to the video on your receipt. Watch as we do an in-depth study presentation of this lovely roller printed cotton day dress from the English Regency Period (1808). It is a typical gown of the period, with a few special details, which we will show you during the session. The Renaissance Fabrics Study Collection is a museum-like collection, but it’s sole purpose is to allow anyone to study historic fashion. Many of our items have open areas that allow us to see “how they did it”. The collection features items from the 17th century through the 1920’s. We are a federally recognized 501(c)3. All class fees will be used to support The Collection. Our amazing expert Melissa Leventon will walk us through the fabric, style, and construction details of this gown. You will be able to see all of the tiny details as we discuss them. Questions will be answered during the recorded session or in the comments below the video.
